Ergo TTY

Transparency in injection moulding equals greater insight

Ergo TTY is the practical software tool for the acquisition, documentation, analysis, and backup of process data on Demag injection moulding machines.

The ERGO TTY program enables the reading of process data from ERGOtech NC4 machines using a serial cable to the IBED’s printer port. These data can also be saved as ASCII files.

The saved data format (tabulated values) can be easily used with a standard spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel.

Moreover it is possible to display and to save the actual IBED or Ergocontrol Screen Page on the computer.

The software runs in Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP and also in NT.

Recording of statistics
Up to 10 items of the process data acquisition (PDA) system on Demag machines with NC4 controller can be di- rectly recorded over an extended period of time on the fixed disc of a PC.

Traceability
For reliable data checking and archiving, date and clock time are optionally recorded cycle by cycle with the pro- cess data – also in the ASCII format.

Simple backup
All data can be stored simply and conveniently for ex- tended periods of archiving on any kind of data media. There is no need for archiving on paper.

Evaluation
Process data can be imported and evaluated in a simple way in commercial spreadsheet programs (e.g. Microsoft Excel®).

Detailed information
In addition to the PDA data it is possible, if desired, to transmit and store the associated pictures from the IBED or Ergocontrol display – e.g. temperature profiles or ma- chine settings.
