Sumitomo and Demag Integration Update

Sumitomo and Demag will integrate both companies in Europe by the end of 2008. The integration of Demag Plastics Group, Schwaig, into the Sumitomo Heavy Industries Group is proceeding efficiently.
In the course of the organisational integration the future European headquarters of Sumitomo-Demag will be located in Schwaig near Nürnberg. From here all European activities will be controlled, including Sales and Service of the current Sumitomo products. To merge all company activities has been targeted to be completed by the end of this year.
