Learn from the experts at Demag's Packaging Forum 2007. Innovative system solutions will be presented for the packaging industry and the latest technological solutions reviewed.
Centred on the EL-EXIS S fast-cycling machine, and hosted by an inter-disciplinary team of experts in various sectors of the packaging industry, the event will be staged at the Demag Hamilton UK headquarters in Aylesbury. Held as two-day forums, the events will include lectures and demonstrations by Demag specialists from its application engineering, automation and service departments on customised and total-concept solutions focused on the requirements of the packaging industry.
Demag will be showing two high-performance machines in operation: One will be an EL-EXIS S 150/500-610 (1,500 kN clamping force, 500 mm tiebar distance, size 610 injection unit, 1.9 s cycle time) with a four-cavity mould by Kebo Formenbau AG of Neuhausen, Switzerland, as well as high-speed parts handling equipment with a stacking system and buffering conveyor by Waldorf Technik GmbH & Co. KG of Engen, Germany, for the production of drinking cups moulded in polypropylene. The other will be an EL-EXIS S 100 (1,000 kN clamping force, 450 mm tiebar distance) with a 24-cavity screw-cap mould by Erwes Reifenberg GmbH & Co. KG of Finnentrop, Germany, demonstrating its outstanding capability.
