Now we have entered a new year and new challenges, Demag can help you by offering you the opportunity to enhance your machines for a very reasonable cost. This will allow you to have greater flexibility on your machines and ease your production planning.

Package 1: Flexible sequence, Statistics to disk and Print to GIF. The cost for this package will be £1000.00.

Flexible sequence software allows very complex sequences for cores and ejectors to be programmed.

Statistics to disk: This allows all the production statistics to be printed to disk. These can then be imported into Excel.

Print to GIF: This allows all or any of the Ergocontrol pages to be printed to disk as a GIF file (graphics file). These can then be printed from a computer for creating setting sheets or they can be included in reports etc. This can only be implemented on machine with an Ergocontrol.

Package 2: Side core monitoring and pulsating air valves. The cost for this package will be £650.00.

Side core monitoring allows each the side cores to be monitored up to a set stroke saving on large mould tool repairs.

The Pulsed air valve programme is very useful for closures moulding so that you can pulse the air to allow the parts to drop and move away from the mould face. This can only be implemented if the control system can support it.

Sumitomo (SHI) Demag to include Sepro SDR Robot in its line of automation systems.

The manufacturer of injection molding machines, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH of Schwaig, Germany, and the manufacturer of robots, Sepro Robotique of La Roche-sur-Yon, France, have concluded a contract for cooperation in June, 2009. This agreement makes arrangements for Sumitomo (SHI) Demag to expand its line of three-axis robots by a robot series supplied by Sepro.
